We are excited you have chosen LDC as your signage maker & stationer. Everything we offer is handmade, designed and created for you. This is a contractual agreement between “Luckie Design Co” also known as “LDC, we, us” and “the client” also known as “you and your” within this document.
CUSTOM SIGNAGE
A project estimate will be provided after a brief consultation, which can be conducted via email, phone, or in person. Full payment is required upfront due to the custom nature of the signage. If you prefer to start with digital mockup before placing a full order, a non-refundable design fee of $100 is necessary. Upon receipt of the payment and necessary information to initiate the process, mockups will be created for your approval. Production will commence once the mockups are approved.
CUSTOM INVITATIONS
An estimate for your project will be provided following a brief consultation, whether it be via email, phone, or in person. Should there be any alterations to the design or quantity, a revised estimate will be necessary. If the actual quantity required is less than the estimated amount and a retainer has been paid, the cost difference will serve as a credit towards the outstanding balance. Conversely, if more invitations are needed than initially estimated and a retainer has been paid, the additional cost will be included in the final balance.
To initiate the creation of invitations, a deposit amounting to 50% of the total estimated cost is required. This deposit, representing half of the total estimate, must be paid before any design work begins and materials are purchased for the project. The remaining 50% of the total estimate, along with any applicable shipping fees, is due upon project completion, either at pickup or before the items are shipped.
An "Information Form" will be emailed to you for completing all the necessary wedding details, which should be returned to LDC to initiate the proofing process. We will engage in a series of digital proofs via email or text. While there is no limit to the number of proof revisions, it is crucial that each proof advances the design towards finalization, making it essential that the information provided before the first proof is accurate. The quicker we complete the proofing process; the sooner production can start.
The proofing process typically takes about a week, depending on how quickly emails are responded. If the proofing process extends beyond the expected timeframe, your order may be delayed. To expedite this process, frequent email checks are recommended.
You will receive an "Envelope Addressing Template" by email, which includes instructions for typing out guest addresses. Ensure that all guest names and addresses are accurate and that all abbreviations are spelled out before returning it to us. Should there be a delay in receiving the guest address list, the estimated timeframe for order completion may be extended.
APPROVING YOUR PROOFS
Please ensure you thoroughly check the proofs for any spelling, grammar, punctuation, or wording errors. Production will only commence after you provide final approval through email or text. The proofs reflect the final product. Should any errors or changes arise post-approval, the client will bear the costs. However, if the mistake is ours, we will reprint without any charge to you. Please note that colors may vary slightly across different computer screens.
LEAD TIMES
For Invitations & Day of Stationery:
After proofs are approved, production will take about 3 to 4 weeks. Your order may be delayed if unforeseen circumstances, supplier errors, items that may be backordered or any means that make it impossible for us to complete your order by the estimated timeframe. We will notify you should this happen and how much it will affect the delivery timeframe.
For Acrylic Signage:
Given the high volume of orders, production is scheduled according to the event date or the required-by date. Rest assured, your order will be created in a timely manner and delivered to you before your event. Depending on our production schedule, you might even receive your order ahead of time.
CHANGES
If you decide to request an entirely new design after the mockups are approved, a non-refundable design fee of $100 will be required to commence anew. This fee is independent of the order cost and will initiate the proofing process again, resulting in a production delay. If you reconsider the initially chosen materials, the expense for the new materials will be calculated and invoiced separately, which will extend the delivery schedule.
RETURNS/EXCHANGES
Due to the custom and personalized nature of products from Luckie Design Co, all sales are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.
HOLDING ORDERS
We recognize that plans can change unexpectedly. Should the wedding be postponed, we will retain your order until we receive further instructions. If the request to hold the order takes place during or after production, additional fees for design or material changes may apply. You will be responsible for any extra costs associated with the reproduction of the order.
“FORCE MAJEURE CLAUSE”
Should a hold be necessary due to, but not limited to, unforeseen circumstances, "acts of God" such as severe natural or weather events including floods, fires, earthquakes, hurricanes, or explosions; war, acts of terrorism, epidemics, and pandemics that affect the ability to complete an order or cause a wedding postponement, all orders will be placed on hold until work can resume. If this occurs after proofs are approved but before or during printing and prior to assembly, a reduced fee will be offered to reprint any cards already printed. If this occurs after invitations are fully assembled and awaiting client's guest addresses or order pickup, we will explore remedies for the invitations. Remedies may include, but are not limited to, reprinting, mailing out with an updated card, or sending invitations and a postponement card at a later date. We will determine the best option based on the circumstances.
CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT
For Invitations & Day of Stationery:
If cancellation takes place during or after production, it will result in the forfeiture of the deposit and may also lead to billing for any additional labor or expenses incurred up to that point.
Should a cancellation take place during the mockup phase but prior to production, you will be refunded your deposit less a $100 design fee.
Should cancellation take place prior to the mockup phase and before the ordering of any materials, your deposit will be fully refunded to the original method of payment.
Cancellations must be submitted via email.
For Acrylic Signage:

Digital files shared with clients are strictly for personal use and for the use of the intended event only. Digital files cannot be duplicated and/or sold in any manner.
For logo incorporation, we kindly request you to ask the designer or company for permission.
